About

With more than a decade of experience in single-family residential design, Jocelyn Tetreault specializes in remodels, additions, retrofits, custom homes, and complex structural alterations. Her experience spans projects ranging from small residential renovations to high-end custom homes in challenging seismic and site conditions.

Originally from Bainbridge Island, Jocelyn graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she met her husband — one of the few other students from Washington State at the time. After college, they returned to the Seattle area to begin their careers and now live in Ballard with their three feisty cats: Ruby, Earl, and Hattie.

Jocelyn has always been drawn to residential architecture and enjoys the collaborative process of helping projects move from early design concepts through construction. She works closely with homeowners, architects, contractors, and developers to create structural solutions that support both the design vision and the practical realities of building.

Known for being responsive, collaborative, and detail-oriented, she approaches every project with an emphasis on clear communication, thoughtful coordination, and efficient, buildable design. Whether the project is a simple renovation or a custom home, the goal remains the same: to provide practical, well-coordinated structural engineering that helps projects move forward smoothly.
